Every winter, huge schools of blacktip sharks migrate south and gather in the shallow coastal water of southeast Florida. Aerial surveys by Florida Atlantic University biologist Stephen Kajiura counted up to about 12,000 sharks in a single snapshot. Tracking them is helping researchers learn how warming seas may be shifting the migration.
