In this 2011 TED talk, Salman Khan explains how and why he created Khan Academy, a structured series of educational videos that offers complete curricula in maths and other subjects.
He shows how interactive exercises let students work at their own pace. He also suggests that teachers flip the traditional classroom, with students watching video lectures at home and doing their “homework” in class, where the teacher is there to help.
