RISE is an aerial short film by landscape photographer Michael Shainblum, shot by drone on road trips across Oregon starting in 2015. It follows the state’s landscapes from the rugged Pacific coast to dense conifer forests, waterfalls and lakes beneath the snow-capped volcanic peaks of the Cascade Range.
